Sony Xperia Tipo Dual Price in India

Sony has recently announced its first ever dual sim smartphone. The Sony Xperia Tipo Dual is a dual sim budget smartphone running on the latest Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. The phone had been announced in June 2012 and is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2012. Sony Xperia Tipo Dual Price in India is not yet known, however it is expected to be a budget offering.

Sony Xperia Tipo is a fairly midsized phone with a 3.2″ TFT capacitive touchscreen. The phone runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM. The phone can run on quad band 2G and 3G networks on both SIMs which is its real USP.

The phone has a humble 3.2MP camera which doesn’t offer many bells and whistles and has only the geo tagging facility. The camera can shoot videos only in the VGA format. The phone comes with bare minimum 2.9 GB internal memory which can be expanded by up to 32GB via micro SD card.

 

Sony Xperia Tipo has some tough contest in the market with the HTC Desire V as well as the Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos being available in the market. The phone is expected to be available in third quarter of 2012.
