A Symbian^3 operating system, which can be upgraded to a Nokia Belle OS. A 680 MHz ARM 11 processor ensures the rapid processing of information and instructions. Accelerometer, proximity and compass are the various sensors that further enhance the performance of the device.
The fine 8MP camera is one of the hallmark features of the phone. It is provided with a wide range of other features including geo-tagging, fixed focus, dual –LED flash and face detection. High quality videos can be captured at 720p @25fps. There is also a secondary VGA camera.
Users can enjoy high quality, as well, as the phone can be connected to loudspeakers and a 3.5mm jack. The device enjoys a wide range of connectivity using GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB.

The C6-01 has a reasonable memory capacity of 340MB, 1GB ROM and 256MB RAM. This memory capacity can be further enhanced by microSD card up to 32GB. A 2GB memory card is included, too.
