Nokia E7: Remembering the last Symbian

Nokia has launched a high profile business phone in response to increasing demand for phones attuned to the demands of professional life. Priced at Rs.19579, the Nokia E7 is a high-end phone, which is still competitively priced in comparison to competitors including the Samsung Galaxy S and the Blackberry Torch 9800.

This phone is designed with a 4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and 360 x 240 pixels. It is also designed with a Multi-touch feature. The Gorilla Glass and ClearBlack display provide a high quality viewing experience. The full tilt slider QWERTY keyboard is one of the hallmark features of the keyboard. The phone functions on a Symbian^3 operating system, and can be upgraded to Nokia Belle OS. The 680MHz ARM 11 CPU offers high operational speed. The Broadcom BCM2727 GPU is an additional feature.
The phone is equipped with an 8MP camera with a resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. The dual LED flash and fixed focus help to capture clear and precise images. Additional features including Geo-tagging and Face detection. A VGA display secondary camera is provided, as well. Videos can be shot at 720p@25 fps. The video stabilization feature helps to capture precise videos.

The phone has an internal storage capacity of 16GB, a RAM of 256 MB and a 1GB ROM. Users can enjoy high connectivity via USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, GPRS, and EDGE.
