Micromax Releases 10.1 inch Funbook Pro In India

Yesterday, Micromax has released the Funbook Pro in India which is the successor of the famous Funbook. The Micromax Funbook price in India is INR 9,999 and is exclusively available online from Snapdeal. It has a large 10.1 inch capacitive multi touchscreen with resolution of 1024 x 600 which is around 25% higher than the original Funbook. It runs on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 based single core processor with dual Mali-400 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

Similar to the predecessor, it does not have a back camera. Although, it does have a front-facing VGA camera which can be useful for video chatting through internet. It has 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB via a Micro SD card slot. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 ICS with some add on applications such as DocumentsToGo. Although it doesn’t have a SIM card slot, it has all the other necessary wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, micro HDMI and USB port for transferring files. You can even connect this tablet to the internet through the dongle via USB port. It has a 5600 mAh battery which can last you through the day when connected to Wi-Fi for internet connectivity.
