Xperia SL, Successor To Sony Xperia S Leaked

Sony’s flagship Android smartphone Xperia S has not managed to gain much traction after it was released as a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X. Now Sony is planning to release the successor to the Sony Xperia S; Sony Xperia SL. It has a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM 8260 processor with Adreno 220 GPU and 1 GB of RAM which is a bit low for its HD screen. It has the same 12 MP camera with Autofocus and LED flash. It also can record videos in full high definition @ 30 fps. It has some other novelty imaging features such as Sweep Panorama and Image Stabilization. It’s screen is a HD LED-Backlit LCD with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and can support multi-touch for 10 simultaneous fingers.

Similar to the Xperia S, it has 32 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot for expansion of storage. It supports all the connectivity features such as Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth, A-GPS and NFC. Unlike Xperia S, Xperia SL comes pre-installed with Android 4.0.4 with the TimeScape UI on top of it. The Sony Xperia SL price in India should not be more than INR 35,000 but it is not yet confirmed.
